Geoff holds an MBA from Cranfield with specialization in international finance where he was voted most likely to succeed. Starting his career at Lonrho in the legal department as head lawyer in the former Soviet Union. After leaving Lonrho he has worked solely for companies that he founded and listed 3 companies on AIM, most notably Rift Oil PLC which made a major discovery in Papua New Guinea. Geoff has extensive experience in emerging market finance having acted as consultant to major projects and banks including the San Stefano project in Alexandria, Egypt. Geoff is passionate about innovation and technology in all facets of the business.
Charl earned a BSc. (HONS) Construction Management from the University of Pretoria where he graduated with distinction at the top of his class. He has more than ten years of construction business management experience. He was involved in the construction of over 10,000 low-cost houses in South Africa for previously disadvantaged communities. He spent two years living and working in one of the poorest and most rural parts of Zambia where he built some of the first engineered steel frame buildings in Zambia. Charl is passionate about social infrastructure (schools and hospitals) and how quickly it can be built using innovation in construction.
